This collection consists of materials of the Michigan Museum Association and is arranged in two series. The first series, Board of Directors, minutes and reports (1972-87), documents the activities of the Board and committees. Includes annual conference minutes, reports, papers and publications, and reports of the executive director and treasurer. The second series, subject files (1972-84), documents the MMA's daily operations and includes articles of incorporation, bylaws, correspondence, state legislation and analyses, grants submitted to the Michigan Council for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities, and publications issued by the MMA.
